After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge in Moshi. After breakfast, you’ll drive to Materuni, a charming village on the lush slopes of Kilimanjaro. If the skies are clear, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peak. Your local guide, a member of the Chagga community, will greet you and lead you on Take a scenic walk of about an hour and a half through rolling hills, passing banana trees, small farms, and traditional homes. Learn about the Chagga way of life, their agricultural practices, and the importance of coffee in the community. Today marks your first full safari day. After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a serene and less-visited gem. Upon arrival, your game drive begins, and the chance to spot wildlife is immediate.Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, especially during the dry season when hundreds congregate along the Tarangire River. The park’s landscapes are equally impressive, with sprawling savannas, swamps, and iconic baobab trees. Keep your camera ready—you may encounter giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species along the way.

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact park is famous for its incredible biodiversity and the unique behavior of its tree-climbing lions. After a final morning game drive or leisure time in the Serengeti, transfer to the airstrip for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, check into your beachfront resort and spend the afternoon relaxing, enjoying the white sands and turquoise waters.

Today is entirely at your own pace. Lounge on the beach, swim in the warm waters, or enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, or exploring nearby villages. End the day with a spectacular sunset walk along the shoreline.
