Day 1 – Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park/Tarangire National Park

Welcome to Tanzania!! You will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha. On this day, you can choose to go to Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park. Depending on the time of year, each of these parks offers a different safari experience.

If Lake Manyara National Park:

You can expect to see many of Africa’s most well-known animals, with the tree-climbing lions a particular treat. Bird- watchers will find Lake Manyara is an absolute delight.

If Tarangire National Park:

Once you’ve entered Tarangire, you’ll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. Lined with acacia and Baobab trees, the river is regularly visited by the park’s large elephant population, herbivores such as zebras and antelopes. Driving through the park you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, cape buffalo.

After your day’s drive is done, you’ll retire to your accommodation for the evening.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro – Central Serengeti

After a good night’s sleep, we’ll set off today toward Central Serengeti. On our way, we’ll pass through Ngorongoro National Park, where you might spot some wildlife along the route. Once we arrive at Central Serengeti, we’ll embark on a game drive across the vast savanna, taking in the stunning landscapes and keeping an eye out for the incredible wildlife that roams freely. Upon reaching the lodge, you’ll be greeted by the friendly Maasai askaris (guards) who will escort you to your tent. Prepare for an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Serengeti!

Day 3 – Central Serengeti

After a Night Filled with the Sounds of Wildlife: We’ll start your day early, rising before dawn to embark on a magical sunrise game drive. Accompanied by the melodic songs of waking birds, you’ll spend the morning searching for elusive leopards and majestic lions hunting for their breakfast, while you might also catch a glimpse of hippos returning to their watery homes with their families. Around 9 AM, we’ll head back to your accommodation for a leisurely breakfast, giving you time to relax and savor the morning. At 10:30, we’ll continue our game drive, with your driver selecting the best route based on the season and the wildlife you’re eager to see. This personalized approach ensures that you maximize your chances of encountering the Serengeti’s incredible diversity. After a thrilling day of exploration, you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in the heart of Serengeti National Park, in accommodations that suit your preferences. It’s the perfect way to end an unforgettable day!

Day 4 – Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast, we’ll hit the road back to Ngorongoro Crater National Park. Our journey will take us through the Serengeti via a different route, providing plenty of opportunities to spot the animals you may have missed on day two. As far as the eye can see, you’ll witness thousands of animals in herds: wildebeests and zebras migrating side by side, tall and graceful giraffes, agile antelopes and gazelles, powerful African elephants, and the respected predators of the region. Keep an eye out for sleek cheetahs, elusive leopards, foraging hyenas, and, of course, the king of the jungle—the lion. You’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in nearby Karatu Town, with accommodations tailored to your preferences.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Today, We’re Heading to a Truly Special Place! After breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, with over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five. This is a coveted safari destination, offering you the rare opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros grazing peacefully on the grassy plains. You’ll also find a significant population of hippos enjoying the cool waters of the crater. From the comfort of your open-top safari vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and capture stunning photographs of some of Africa’s most iconic creatures. After a day filled with excitement and adventure, we’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool. As the day winds down, we’ll begin our journey back to Arusha, concluding this remarkable safari experience. It’s a day you won’t forget in the afternoon your flight to Zanzibar is departing. Day 6 – Stonetown

Today, we’ll explore the cultural capital of Zanzibar, Stone Town. As you wander through its charming streets, you’ll be captivated by the stunning architecture, with beautiful houses reflecting a blend of African and Arab influences. Take your time to visit local markets, historic sites, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that defines this unique town. In the afternoon, your taxi driver will take you to your beach lodge, where you can relax and unwind by the ocean. Prepare for a day filled with culture, history, and scenic beauty in Zanzibar!

Day 7 – Beach Resort Zanzibar

Relaxing Day at Your Beach Resort Today, enjoy a blissful day at your beach lodge. Take a leisurely stroll along the sandy shores, feeling the warm sun and the gentle breeze. Alternatively, relax by the pool with a refreshing cocktail in hand, soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Whether you choose to explore the beach or unwind by the water, today is all about relaxation and enjoyment. Embrace the tranquility of your stunning location and savor every moment!

Day 8 – Zanzibar Beach Hotel – Zanzibar Airport

Today marks the last day of your holiday. After enjoying a final breakfast at your lodge, you’ll have a little time to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings one last time. When you’re ready, you’ll head to the airport for your departure. Take a moment to reflect on the wonderful memories you’ve created during your trip.  Verified 10/10 Recommendation Me and my friend did a private Safari to Tarangiere. I was before in contact with Jasmine, which was really easy. She‘s such a kind hearted person. It was so amazing! Our Driver Bryson was so patient with us and showed us all good spots. He did an amazing job! We saw so many animals like Elephants, Giraffes and also a Leopard.  Verified Great experience and very affordable We had a great time on our safari. Jasmine was very helpfull in planning the safari and tailoring it to our needs. She stayed in contact leading up to the safari and answered our questions right away.  Verified Family safari We came across Jasmine from Sarafika Tours through someone else. She is Tanzanian but has lived in the Netherlands for a long time and therefore also speaks Dutch. We wanted to travel with 7 people, including 3 small children (4, 7 and 9) and grandparents in their 70s, and therefore had some wishes regarding overnight stays (preferably with a swimming pool, family rooms, not driving too far distances, etc.) . Jasmine understood this immediately and immediately drew up a good program for this. Everywhere with family rooms / tented camps so that we could sleep together with the children. There was also a swimming pool everywhere so that the children could splash around after a long safari day (and we could have a quiet drink). At Rhotia Valley the waiter even played games with our children. Baraka was our guide and this was also a success. We laughed about how he scared away monkeys during our picnics. He spotted a lot of animals. And he had a good sense of what we wanted. Sarafika tours also offered a good price compared to other operators, but with excellent quality.
