Eight Day Tanzania Golf

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport a representative from Sarafika will collect you from the airport and escort you to the lodge for your first night under African stars.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll be warmly greeted by our driver/guide for an exciting journey to TPC Moshi Golf Club. Nestled within a vibrant sugar cane plantation, TPC Moshi is one of Tanzania’s oldest golf clubs, dating back to 1920. As you step onto this stunning 18-hole course, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro that accompany several holes. Each tee box offers a unique challenge, while the lush greenery, abundant water features, and majestic old trees create an inviting atmosphere. After a leisurely lunch, it’s time to hit the course for your 18-hole round. If you’re feeling adventurous, consider a mountain bike tour around the plantation, suitable for any fitness level, or enjoy a friendly tennis match by the clubhouse, with all equipment provided. After a day filled with activity and relaxation, you’ll unwind in one of the cozy Golf Cottages, ready for another day of exploration.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is renowned for its fantastic safari experiences. The park’s landscape varies from open savannah to wooded areas, marshlands, dense shrubbery, palm trees, and regions dotted with iconic baobab trees. This diversity creates a unique and fascinating environment. Exciting safari adventures await you in Tarangire. Alongside your expert guide, you’ll search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, ostriches, buffaloes, and a wide variety of other wildlife. The coming days will be filled with memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. As the sun sets, you’ll arrive at your camp. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the campfire under the African starry sky!

Safari in Tarangire National Park

After a wonderful night at the camp, you will have breakfast in the morning. Then we’ll head out again in search of wildlife in Tarangire. After a picnic at one of the designated picnic spots, we’ll depart towards Karatu to continue your journey

Today, We’re heading to a truly special place! After breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, with over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five. This is a coveted safari destination, offering you the rare opportunity to see the endangered black rhino grazing peacefully on the grassy plains. You’ll also find a significant population of hippos enjoying the cool waters of the crater.

From the comfort of your safari vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and capture stunning photographs of some of Africa’s most iconic creatures. After a day filled with excitement and adventure, we’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool.

As the day winds down, we’ll begin our journey back to our lodge in Arusha

After breakfast, your adventure continues as you’re taken to the charming Gymkhana Golf Club, nestled in the heart of Arusha town. While the course features only 9 holes (Par 72), don’t let that fool you; it offers a delightful challenge with its slightly hilly terrain and many trees. You can enjoy playing 18 holes by switching up the tee boxes!

Afterword, it’s time to unwind at your lodge. You can choose from a variety of complimentary activities, like a serene boat trip on the lake or a stroll through the private forest to encounter Sykes monkeys and the striking black-and-white colobus. If you’re feeling adventurous, for just a small amount per person, a cultural tour can be arranged to visit the local village, schools, and even an orphanage, where your guide will share their family home with you.

This newer golf course in Tanzania is a true gem, seamlessly blending each hole into the natural landscape. You’ll be captivated by the cleverly designed bunkers and the innovative pop-up irrigation system that maintains the course to the highest standards. As you tee off, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush green fairways, well-manicured greens, and stunning water features adorned with indigenous plants and native grasses. The course offers a par of 72, featuring a balanced mix of four par threes, four par fives, and ten par fours. From certain holes, you can even catch breathtaking views of both Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife— monkeys, zebras, and gazelles often make an appearance, and you might spot some beautiful birds flitting about. And don’t forget to be cautious near the 9th green; there’s a crocodile lurking in the lake! After a rewarding day on the course, you’ll savor a delicious lunch at the clubhouse before returning to the lodge for your second night. And if you need a break from the game, the inviting swimming pool is the perfect spot to refresh and relax. At the end of this memorable day, you’ll be taken to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home. Your Golf Safari comes to a close, leaving you with unforgettable memories and stories to share.
