Four Day Fly-in from Zanzibar to the Savannah Safari

This morning, we’ll fly from Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park for your multi-day safari trip. Upon arrival in Arusha, your safari vehicle will be ready to take you to Tarangire.

As we travel, enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Maasai land, where you can spot traditional villages and stunning vistas. Once we reach Tarangire, we’ll embark on our game drive, where we’ll search for the park’s famous elephants and other wildlife.

After a good night’s sleep, we’ll set off today toward Central Serengeti. On our way, we’ll pass through Ngorongoro National Park, where you might spot some wildlife along the route. Once we arrive at Central Serengeti, we’ll embark on a game drive across the vast savanna, taking in the stunning landscapes and keeping an eye out for the incredible wildlife that roams freely. Upon reaching the lodge, you’ll be greeted by the friendly Maasai guardians who will escort you to your tent. Prepare for an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Serengeti!

After a night filled with the sounds of wildlife, we’ll start your day early with a magical sunrise game drive. As the sun rises and birds begin their morning songs, you’ll have the chance to spot elusive leopards and majestic lions hunting for their breakfast, while hippos may be returning to the water with their families. Around 9 AM, we’ll head back to your accommodation for a leisurely breakfast, giving you time to relax and reflect on the morning’s sightings. After breakfast, it’s time to check out and begin your journey towards the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll take a scenic route, offering opportunities to spot more wildlife and experience the changing landscapes of the region. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at your accommodation on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where dinner will be served as you enjoy breathtaking views of the crater below. The night will be spent at your lodge, perfectly positioned to offer an unforgettable stay in this unique and beautiful setting.

Today, We’re Heading to a Truly Special Place! After breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, with over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five. This is a coveted safari destination, offering you the rare opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros grazing peacefully on the grassy plains. You’ll also find a significant population of hippos enjoying the cool waters of the crater. From the comfort of your open-top safari vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and capture stunning photographs of some of Africa’s most iconic creatures. After a day filled with excitement and adventure, we’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool.
