Day 2
FULL DAY NORTH SERENGETI
After a Good Night on the Plains of the Serengeti After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off for an exciting game drive in the Kogatende area. Our search will take us around the kopjes, where we’ll look for carnivores and large groups of wildebeest preparing to make their dramatic crossing of the Mara River into Kenya.
As we continue our journey, we’ll explore the Bologonja and Wogatende areas, eventually reaching the iconic Mara River. This vital waterway is home to a large population of hippos and Nile crocodiles and represents the final major challenge for the wildebeest migration. If we’re lucky and patient, we might witness the breathtaking river crossing, where wildebeest and zebras brave the currents and the lurking crocodiles in their quest for safety on the other side.
After an exhilarating day of wildlife observation, we’ll return to our comfortable accommodations in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind, surrounded by the sounds of the African night. It’s the perfect end to a day filled with unforgettable moments!
