Welcome to Sarafika Tours Limited, your go-to company for organizing safaris, day trips, beach vacations, mountain expeditions, and complete private safaris and tour packages in Tanzania. Before you proceed, please take a moment to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions that apply when you agree with Sarafika Tours.

Booking confirmations

Thank you for confirming your safari trip with us. We will send you an official booking confirmation along with a packing list of essential items to bring on your safari. To complete the booking process, please fill out the enclosed form and return it to us via email. We highly recommend that you obtain valid travel insurance before your safari adventure with us.

Terms of payment

A deposit payment of 25% of the total invoice amount has to be paid within 14 days after the invoice date. The remaining amount is due 30 days before arrival. For bookings within the period of 56 days prior to departure the full amount of the invoice has to be paid instantly. Once we have received the amount on our bank account we will send you a confirmation. Please note that bank transfer costs should be fully covered by the sender.

Cancellation policy

In the unforeseen event that you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. All cancellations are effective on the date we receive your cancellation request. The following cancellation fees apply:

1. 1. Cancellation 90 days prior to departure shall warrant a refund of 30% of the trip price;
   2. Cancellation between 89 and 45 days prior to departure shall warrant a refund of 20% of the deposit.
   3. No refunds shall be issued for cancellations less than 30 days prior to departure.

Visa and passport

It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary visa for your trip. Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival in Tanzania. To obtain a valid visa, you can either apply at the Tanzanian consulate prior to your departure, or upon your arrival in Tanzania. The visa fee is $50 or €50 when purchased on arrival.

Liability

While Sarafika Tours will do everything possible to ensure that you and your belongings are treated with care and outmost respect, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage to, or theft of your personal property, personal injury, or death. For this reason, we highly recommend that you obtain travel insurance before embarking on your journey.
