On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport a representative from Sarafika will collect you from the airport and escort you to the lodge for your first night under African stars

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you have the option to embark on a guided walking safari in the stunning Arusha National Park. Experience the beauty of nature up close as you stroll through diverse landscapes, from lush forests to open savannahs. Your expert guide will share insights about the local flora and fauna, and you may spot wildlife such as giraffes, buffalo, and various bird species. This immersive experience allows you to connect with the environment in a way that a traditional safari cannot. Alternatively, if you prefer a more active morning, you can head to the Arusha Gymkhana Club to enjoy a game of tennis. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, the club offers excellent facilities and a friendly atmosphere. Take in the beautiful surroundings while enjoying a match or practicing your serves and volleys. After your chosen activity, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before continuing your adventure in Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park is a hidden gem in Tanzania, celebrated for its unique landscapes and rich biodiversity. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, with opportunities to enjoy the vibrant local scenery and wildlife along the way. As you approach the park, you’ll be captivated by the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and the beautiful lake itself. Upon arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, prepare for an exciting game drive. This park is famous for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from lush forests to open grasslands and the shimmering lake. Keep your eyes peeled for the park’s remarkable wildlife, including herds of elephants, curious hippos, and a variety of bird species, including flamingos that often gather at the lake’s edge. After an exhilarating day of exploration, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and a restful night, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today, We’re Heading to a Truly Special Place! After breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, with over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five. This is a coveted safari destination, offering you the rare opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros grazing peacefully on the grassy plains. You’ll also find a significant population of hippos enjoying the cool waters of the crater. From the comfort of your open-top safari vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and capture stunning photographs of some of Africa’s most iconic creatures. After a day filled with excitement and adventure, we’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool. As the day winds down, we’ll begin our journey back to our lodge in Arusha

The drive will take you through stunning landscapes, providing glimpses of local life along the way. Arriving in Arusha in the afternoon, you’ll have some leisure time to unwind and explore the vibrant town. For those looking to stay active, we offer the opportunity to play tennis at the Arusha Gymkhana Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to have fun, the club provides a welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained courts. After your game, you can relax and enjoy the local ambiance. In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner at a charming local restaurant, sharing stories from your adventures.

After a leisurely breakfast, you have the option to spend your morning playing tennis at the Arusha Gymkhana Club, where you can enjoy the friendly competition and beautiful surroundings. If tennis isn’t your choice, feel free to explore more of Arusha. You might visit local markets for some last-minute souvenirs, enjoy a relaxing stroll in a nearby park, or indulge in a spa treatment to unwind before your journey home.
