Upon entering Lake Manyara National Park, prepare to be mesmerized by the abundance of wildlife. Witness the majestic tree-climbing lions, their regal forms perched atop acacia trees, offering unparalleled photographic opportunities. Avid birdwatchers will be delighted by the park’s incredible diversity of avian species, including large flamingo flocks, soaring birds of prey, and the vibrantly colored lilac-breasted roller.

We’ll commence our adventure with a scenic drive towards the Serengeti National Park, traversing through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for cape buffalo, baboons, and even elephants and leopards, which might make an appearance amidst the dense undergrowth.

The journey to the Serengeti park gates takes approximately four hours. To break up the drive, you have the option to participate in one or both of the following activities, each incurring an additional cost:

  • Olduvai Gorge Museum:Sometimes known as the Cradle of Mankind, the Olduvai Gorge Museum showcases some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever discovered. Delve into the fascinating history of human evolution, explore fossilized remnants of our ancestors, and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding gorge country.
