Tarangire National Park

Upon entering Tarangire, commence your game drive amidst the golden expanse of the savannah, where the Tarangire River winds its way through the heart of the park. This lifeline nourishes the region’s wildlife during the dry season, attracting a thriving ecosystem of elephants, zebras, antelopes, and numerous other creatures.

Upon entering Lake Manyara National Park, prepare to be mesmerized by the abundance of wildlife. Witness the majestic tree-climbing lions, their regal forms perched atop acacia trees, offering unparalleled photographic opportunities. DAY 2 – LAKE MANYARA/TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

We’ll commence our adventure with a scenic drive towards the Serengeti National Park, traversing through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for cape buffalo, baboons, and even elephants and leopards, which might make an appearance amidst the dense undergrowth.

The journey to the Serengeti park gates takes approximately four hours. To break up the drive, you have the option to participate in one or both of the following activities, each incurring an additional cost:

  • Olduvai Gorge Museum:Sometimes known as the Cradle of Mankind, the Olduvai Gorge Museum showcases some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever discovered. Delve into the fascinating history of human evolution, explore fossilized remnants of our ancestors, and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding gorge country.
  • Maasai boma visit:Immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the Maasai people by visiting one of their authentic bomas. Witness and participate in traditional Maasai dances, tour a genuine Maasai village, and perhaps discover unique souvenirs at the local market.

After a delectable lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it’s time to venture into the heart of the Serengeti itself. Prepare to be captivated by Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and marvel at the sheer abundance of wildlife that roams these vast plains.

In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive, immersing yourself in the heart of Africa’s wildlife kingdom. Look up to spot the graceful lilac-breasted rollers soaring through the skies and listen intently for the symphony of bird calls that fill the air

DAY 3:SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO

Following a delectable breakfast, we embark on our journey back towards the Ngorongoro Crater National Park, traversing a different route through the Serengeti. This alternative path presents ample opportunities to encounter wildlife that may have evaded your sight on the previous day.

As far as the eye can see, witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of thousands upon thousands of animals traversing the vast plains in herds. Observe the synchronized movements of wildebeests and zebras as they migrate together, spot the graceful giraffes towering over the grasslands, and admire the agility of antelopes and gazelles as they leap across the landscape.

Encounter the majestic African elephant, a symbol of wisdom and strength, and witness the power and grace of lions, the revered kings of the animal kingdom. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive cheetah, renowned for its unparalleled speed, and the stealthy leopard, a master of camouflage

Dine and spend the night on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking views of the caldera below, or in the nearby town of Karatu, depending on your chosen accommodation preferences
