No need for an extended vacation to explore Tanzania’s beauty!

Our special three-day Northern Circuit adventure allows you to discover three of Tanzania’s renowned Northern Circuit Parks: Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, and the crown jewel – the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

From the iconic tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara to Tarangire’s impressive elephant herds and the exceptional environment and wildlife diversity of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this journey promises an unforgettable experience as you seek the Big Five across these three remarkable parks.

Your journey begins in Arusha as you head towards Lake Manyara National Park. The scenic drive lasts approximately two hours, taking you through the bustling market town of Mto Wa Mbu. This vibrant hub is not only an agricultural haven but also a treasure trove for souvenir enthusiasts, offering a rich blend of local cultures.

Upon a brief visit to the village market, you'll make your entrance into Lake Manyara National Park. This park is a true haven for photographers, providing some of the finest wildlife viewing opportunities on the planet. Expect to encounter a plethora of Africa's most iconic animals, with the tree-climbing lions being a particular highlight. These majestic predators recline in acacia trees, practically posing for your camera.

For bird enthusiasts, Lake Manyara is a paradise, boasting a diverse array of avian species. Even if you're a novice, you'll be captivated by the sight of large flocks of flamingos, majestic birds of prey circling overhead, and the vibrantly hued lilac-breasted roller.

After your exhilarating wildlife adventure, you'll retreat to your chosen accommodation for a satisfying dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Following a hearty breakfast, your journey takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a place often regarded as the Eighth Wonder of the World. As you catch your first glimpse of this vast, lush caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll quickly grasp why it has garnered such a prestigious reputation.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to over 120 species of mammals, including the legendary Big Five, is among the most coveted safari destinations worldwide. It's a prime location for observing the endangered black rhinoceros as it peacefully grazes on the grassy plains, and for witnessing numerous hippos enjoying the refreshing waters.

From the vantage point of your open-top vehicle, you'll have the opportunity to observe and capture photographs of some of Africa's most iconic creatures. The crater teems with a variety of predators, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside a substantial population of wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, Cape buffalo, and more. Undoubtedly, it stands as one of Africa's foremost safari destinations.

After a day filled with thrills and adventure, you'll savor a picnic lunch beside the renowned hippo pool within the park before making your way back to the airport for your departure.

After your morning meal, you'll set off for a half-day game drive in Tarangire National Park.

Upon entering Tarangire, your safari adventure unfolds amidst a sprawling expanse of golden savannah, enveloping the Tarangire River. This lifeline river flows perennially, serving as a critical water source for the local wildlife, especially during the dry season. Lined with acacia and Baobab trees, the river plays host to frequent visits from the park's substantial elephant population, as well as other herbivores like zebras and antelopes.

A delightful picnic lunch with a view of the river offers a perfect opportunity to soak in the surroundings, but be prepared to guard your meal against the mischievous local monkey population!

As you traverse the park, you'll also have the chance to spot majestic creatures like lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a diverse array of antelopes. With some luck, you might even have the rare privilege of encountering endangered species such as the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx.

Following your exhilarating game drive, your journey will lead you back to Arusha (the drop-off location will be communicated).
